Delete your ChatUp account and data

ChatUp: AI Chat Bot Assistant is operated by Lightning Deals LLC. Use this page to request permanent deletion of your ChatUp account and associated data, even if you no longer have the App installed.

Deleting ChatUp from your device does not delete your account.

Request account deletion

You can request deletion in either of these ways:

  1. Open ChatUp, go to the App’s settings, and use the account-deletion option.
  2. Email support@lightningdealsllc.com with the subject “ChatUp Account Deletion Request.” Send the request from the email address associated with your ChatUp account and state that you want your account and associated data deleted.

Email a deletion request

We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. Do not send your password, payment-card information, Apple or Google credentials, or the contents of your chats.

What deletion includes

After any necessary identity verification, we will delete your ChatUp account and delete or de-identify associated personal data held by ChatUp, generally within 45 days. If applicable law permits an extension, we will tell you why and provide an updated completion date. We will confirm by email when deletion is complete. This includes account information and stored User Content such as chat history, assistants, scheduled tasks, and memories.

You can also delete individual chats and memories through the App without deleting your entire account.

We may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations; resolve disputes; prevent fraud or abuse; maintain security backups for a limited period; or enforce our agreements.

Subscriptions

App Store subscriptions are managed separately by Apple. Before deleting your ChatUp account, cancel any active subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings if you do not want it to renew. Deleting your account or uninstalling ChatUp does not delete your Apple ID, cancel an App Store subscription, or delete Apple’s billing records.
